Painted Faces
On a daily basis, we paint on expressions which we show to the outside world, masking our true feelings. I make an effort to put on a smile for those I care about, even if it means suppressing my own negative emotions. Eventually, the mask melts away to reveal my true emotions. I emphasize this idea with the use of bright colors for the mask of "happiness", and dark for the true feelings I hold inside.
